Cables can be connected inside the junction box using a terminal block or connector (not included). By casting the resin, the junction box is protected against water ingress. This makes the electrical connection completely waterproof and safe. After filling the junction box with casting resin, it can be buried immediately and energised. The casting resin kit is supplied complete. Clear assembly instructions are included in the package, as well as abrasive cloth and disposable gloves. Each junction box comes with 3 sturdy nylon diaphragm glands and locknuts. The box has 8 ports in 4 directions. Cured casting resin can be disposed of with normal household waste.
